The Humanitarian Aid Program is funded through philanthropic endeavors which are realized with monetary grants to individual Marines or their families. The recipient of these grants would be in a difficult position due to circumstances beyond their control. The request is verified by local Marine Corps League Detachment or Department Officer, who assists the requestor in completion of information requested on the Foundation "MCL Foundation Assistance Vetting form" which is found under "Forms" on the MCL Foundation WEB page. Completion of this form, along with submission of required documents will expedite a vote on the request. Upon approval from the Board of Directors, the funds will be available for distribution within 72 hours. All distributed funds will be paid directly to the requestor's payee accounts.
